Ingredients
Sauce
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp chili crisp
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
Skewers
- 24 pieces garaetteok (Korean rice cakes)
- 24 pieces sausage, cut into about 2-inch pieces
- Roasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1.
Preheat your Traeger grill to 450°F.
2.
Bring a pot of water to a boil and par-boil the rice cakes for 2–3 minutes. Drain well.
3.
In a small saucepan combine the BBQ sauce, gochujang, chili crisp, garlic paste, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer and whisk until smooth.
4.
Thread rice cakes and sausage alternately onto skewers.
5.
Place skewers on the grill and cook 3–4 minutes per side.
6.
Brush generously with the sauce and continue grilling 2–3 minutes, until sticky and caramelized.
7.
Remove from the grill and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds.
Serving
Serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
