Ingredients
Steak
- 1 whole flank steak (2–3 lbs), trimmed
Marinade
- 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ½ cup rice wine vinegar
- ¼ cup finely chopped rosemary
- 3 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp granulated onion
- 1 tbsp coarse ground black pepper
Instructions

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, rosemary, garlic, brown sugar, honey, granulated onion, and black pepper until the sugar is dissolved and the marinade is well combined.

Place the flank steak in a non-reactive container such as a glass or plastic bowl, or a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steak and turn to coat evenly.

Remove the steak from the marinade and place it directly on the grill. Cook for 5–8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 120–125°F for medium-rare.
